چکیده

NiO and CeO2 were prepared via flame spray pyrolysis. The specific surface area total pore volume 251 m2 g–1 2.3 cm3 for 338 3.3 CeO2, respectively. high porosity of the allowed deposition small particles (∼5 nm) by impregnation cerium acetate monohydrate. reduced using 5 % H2 at 500 °C 1 h which converted to metallic Ni. During reduction, growth Ni was hindered particles. Consequently, size relatively (∼20 despite extremely content (80 wt%), as observed scanning transmission electron microscopy. In contrast, incorporation nickel tetrahydrate into support resulted in formation inhomogeneous (20-100 after reduction. chemisorption measurement showed former catalyst 13.7 g–1, 2.4 times larger than that latter catalyst. exhibited remarkable performance CO2 methanation (47 conversion 250 °C), 2 higher

Porous carbon powders prepared by ultrasonic spray pyrolysis.

New, thermally robust meso- and macroporous carbon powders were prepared by ultrasonic spray pyrolysis (USP) of aqueous solutions using an inexpensive high-frequency ultrasound generator from a household humidifier. We choose our molecular precursors rationally, so that the expected decomposition pathways produce only remnant carbon atoms. Specifically, our rational design criterion led to halo...

Selectivity Enhancement by Using Double-Layer MOX-Based Gas Sensors Prepared by Flame Spray Pyrolysis (FSP)

Here we present a novel concept for the selective recognition of different target gases with a multilayer semiconducting metal oxide (SMOX)-based sensor device. Direct current (DC) electrical resistance measurements were performed during exposure to CO and ethanol as single gases and mixtures of highly porous metal oxide double- and single-layer sensors obtained by flame spray pyrolysis. The re...

Porous MoS2 synthesized by ultrasonic spray pyrolysis.

The hydrodesulfurization (HDS) activity of molybdenum sulfide-based catalysts is localized to the edges of this layered solid and is, therefore, highly dependent on the technique used to prepare the material. Here, ultrasonic spray pyrolysis (USP) was used to synthesize porous, nanostructured MoS2. Low surface area powders, not useful for catalysis, are generally produced by USP. This work show...

Cubic or monoclinic Y2O3:Eu nanoparticles by flame spray pyrolysis

Monocrystalline cubic and/or monoclinic Y2O3:Eu nanoparticles (10-50 nm) were synthesized continuously without post-processing by single-step flame spray pyrolysis (FSP). These particles were characterized by Xray diffraction (XRD), nitrogen adsorption (BET) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Photoluminescence (PL) emission was measured as well as the time-resolved PL-intensity decay. ...

Structural and electrical properties of In-doped vanadium oxide thin films prepared by spray pyrolysis

The In-doped vanadium pentoxide nanostructures with different doping levels including 0, 10, 20 and 30 at.% were prepared by the spray pyrolysis technique. The prepared thin films were characterized by the x-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The XRD results revealed that the films were crystalline in tetragonal phase. Increasing the In-doping level made the structure...
